“ Nice place ,Good fast service. Big portions delicious food. Will return soon, plenty of ”
“ Although it's on the pricey side, the chips and salsa are amazing and the green chili is fantastic! ( got to love inflation) they've been around since 1966' ”
“ We've passed by the Bean Bandit many times and finally decided to check it out one evening. Be mindful of their hours as they seem to close earlier than others. Parking was easy, although a little tight turning around. The inside of the restaurant is really interesting with a handmade fountain and brightly painted murals on the wall. Although it is obviously an older building, everything was kept up nicely. The family history and building information is on the menu cover, which I found interesting to read. Our server greeted us promptly, bringing out salsa and chips. The chips were so good! These were light, crispy. We asked if they're made in house, but our server didn't think so. We ordered three appetizers to share: bean dip, quesadilla and taquitos. The bean dip didn't look the best in presentation, but it tasted just fine and we ate all of it without complaint. The quesadilla was good yet pretty standard for a quesadilla. The taquitos were my least favorite. They lacked in taste; kind of dry and bland. They looked a little weird too, like a big pizza roll. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We weren't blown away by our food choices, sure, but we overall enjoyed ourselves in the ambience of this aged restaurant and like supporting small businesses. For that, I give an extra star. I would be willing to go again, but maybe try other dishes next go around. ”
“ Wonderful food, salsa is amazing. Was recommended here by regulars and have been 3 times in the month since they told us about it. Service is always quick and friendly. ”
“ Lovely decor and the requested booth seating was very comfortable. The tortilla chips were light and the salsas were freshly made. Delicious. I ordered the chicken fajita meal-nothing spectacular. Hindsight-should have ordered smothered tortilla chips. My dessert choice, suggested by my server, was fried ice cream and it was the absolute best ending to my meal. This was a lovely leisurely lunch while my vehicle was being steamed and detailed next door at QuickService Steam & Detail. I will come again when in the area. ”
“ Great food and great staff! It can get busy, so I'm always patient with a packed house. I always leave there stuffed, Never disappoints, if they ever due, I'll give them plenty more chances. ”
“ This place is very underrated. The service was awesome, both times. The chips and salsa are probably the best ever and I've been to A LOT or places ( grew up in AZ) the tequila sunrise was really good! The atmosphere was really cool and clean. Probably our new favorite Mexican food place in the springs! ”
“ This is my mom's favorite restaurant. According to her, this family owned restaurant has been around "forever "and Wendy original owners passed away, their son took over and continued the tradition of a making the most delicious Mexican food in a cozy atmosphere. I'm a big fan of their green chili end love that you can have anything smothered. My mom's favorite is the cheese enchilada with onion added. The prices are reasonable but be aware there is an added cost for things like extra chips or onion. ”
“ Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. The owner came over and checked on us. The prices were affordable. We love family-owned restaurants. I'm always on the lookout for great, authentic Mexican food. You can't go wrong and the selection is unbelievable. ”
